Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-senior level associate to join its Wage and Hour Litigation team in Denver, Colorado. This position offers an opportunity for an attorney with 4 or more years of experience to engage in significant client-facing work.

Duties

• Litigate wage and hour class and/or collective action claims under the Colorado Wage Act and Fair Labor Standards Act.
• Interpret regulations, rules, and guidance from the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment and U.S. Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division.
• Draft and respond to initial pleadings and discovery.
• Draft and argue motions, including motions to decertify a conditional class.
• Take and defend depositions.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in wage and hour litigation.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents and conducting depositions.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Admission to the Colorado Bar.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
