Boston office of an AmLaw firm seeks mid-level real estate associate attorney with 4-7 years of experience. The candidate will serve in leases for retail locations, offices, warehouses and distribution centers (new locations, relocations and renegotiations at end of lease term) including related diligence review. Amendment to leases including expansions and reductions. Sublease and assignment of leases to third parties. Estoppel certificates and non-disturbance agreements with lenders and owners. Termination of lease agreements, Purchase and sales agreements, evaluate use restrictions affecting retail premises and negotiating with other retailers to obtain waivers of use exclusives. Provide legal counsel and guidance to management regarding landlord/tenant/subtenant notices and disputes. Must preferably have experience with retail and office leasing as well as real estate acquisitions. Should have experience with negotiating leases, subleases, and purchase and sale agreements. Admission to Massachusetts is required.
