A law firm seeks a Bilingual Family Law Attorney for its office in Manassas, VA. This role involves managing family law and SIJS cases, providing legal support across the DMV region and Florida.

Duties

• Manage and oversee family-related legal issues and interpret applicable laws.
• Collaborate with case workers, supervisors, and program directors.
• Prepare, organize, and file legal documents, keeping clients informed.
• Work closely with the SIJS Department on family law and immigration cases.
• Support immigration-related legal needs throughout the DMV region and Florida.

Requirements

• Active Virginia Bar license in good standing.
• Experience in Virginia family law statutes, procedures, and case law.
• Three years of related law/legal experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Virginia Bar license.
