Profile

A law firm in Tampa is seeking a Corporate Partner with expertise in Employee Benefits matters such as defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, 401k plans, and profit-sharing plans. The role involves reviewing contracts, and handling corporate resolutions and requires excellent drafting and communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work within deadlines. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience practicing in a law firm and must be a member of the Florida Bar or in the process of becoming one. A portable book of business is highly preferred.

Job Details:

• Provide expertise in Employee Benefits matters including defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, 401k plans, and profit-sharing plans.
• Review contracts related to corporate matters.
• Handle corporate resolutions efficiently and effectively.
• Demonstrate excellent drafting skills for legal documents and correspondence.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Work within tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Possess a portable book of business, highly preferred.

Requirements:

• Membership in the Florida Bar or in the process of becoming one.
• 8+ years of experience practicing law in a law firm setting.
• Proven expertise in Employee Benefits matters.
• Strong understanding of corporate law and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Membership in the Florida Bar.
