Duties

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis from case intake through trial.

• Assist in preparing discovery requests and responses.

• Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends.
• Track important deadlines.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Bar in the state where the position is located.
• Litigation experience, ideally in civil rights and/or nursing home neglect.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle a high volume of cases and meet deadlines.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications
