The Bankruptcy Associate Attorney will primarily handle substantive court appearances and represent creditors’ committees, indenture trustees, landlords, and trade creditors in bankruptcy matters. The ideal candidate will have previous bankruptcy experience in a law firm and possess top academic credentials.

Duties:

• Handle substantive court appearances in bankruptcy matters
• Represent creditors’ committees, indenture trustees, landlords, and trade creditors
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Draft legal documents and pleadings
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
• Assist with case management and strategy

Requirements:

• 3-8 years of experience in bankruptcy law
• Previous bankruptcy experience in a law firm
• Strong analytical abilities
• Excellent client-relations skills
• Ability to work well on a team

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar
