Duties

• Manage an independent caseload, including all phases of litigation.
• Represent clients in court appearances.
• Draft legal documents, including motions for summary judgment.
• Conduct depositions and other pre-trial procedures.
• Provide case updates and reports to insurance carriers.
• Maintain communication with clients throughout the litigation process.

Requirements

• 1–5 years of experience as an associate attorney; experience in insurance defense is a plus.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of New York.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse personalities and maintain a team-oriented approach.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active and in-good-standing bar membership in New York.
