Duties

• Manage a docket focused on will contests, inheritance disputes, fiduciary litigation, and related probate/trust matters.
• Draft and argue motions, responses, and supporting memoranda.
• Handle discovery, including written discovery, depositions, subpoenas, and case strategy.
• Conduct court appearances, hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trials as appropriate.
• Communicate regularly with clients, providing clear guidance on timelines, strategy, and expectations.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient and accurate case management.

Requirements

• J.D. and active Indiana bar license in good standing.
• Litigation experience required, with probate/trust litigation strongly preferred.
• Strong legal writing and analytical skills.
• Confident courtroom presence and comfort handling contested matters.
• Professional judgment, responsiveness, and a client-centered approach.
• Ability to manage deadlines and maintain organized case files.

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)
