Job Overview:

• Provide legal representation to clients in personal injury cases.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to personal injury laws and regulations.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
• Represent clients in mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing parties.

Duties:

• Represent clients in personal injury cases from inception to resolution.
• Conduct intake interviews with potential clients and assess the merits of their cases.
• Investigate the facts of each case by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and reviewing medical records.
• Draft legal documents, including complaints, answers, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings on behalf of clients.
• Keep clients informed of case developments and provide legal advice and guidance.
• Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff within the firm.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of experience practicing personal injury law.
• Admitted to practice in New Jersey.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage a high-volume caseload.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New Jersey State Bar.
