Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly motivated Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join their team remotely in the San Francisco Bay Area, CA. The successful candidate will manage a docket of cases and work closely with a team of paralegals and support staff.

Duties

• Manage a docket of cases to resolution.
• Prepare clients for and attend depositions.
• Respond to client inquiries and move matters towards resolution.
• Provide direction and guidance to non-attorneys.
• Participate in team events and provide feedback to management.

Requirements

• 3+ years of workers' compensation experience required.
• Comfortable with fast-paced work environments.
• Experience with doctors' depositions preferred.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be in good standing with the California State Bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree required.

Certifications

• California State Bar membership required.

• Strong negotiation and resolution skills.
• Ability to lead and work collaboratively with a team.
