Job Overview:

A law firm in Timonium, Maryland, is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Attorney with at least 3 years of experience in drafting estate planning documents and administering estates in Maryland. The ideal candidate should have strong client relationship skills, expertise in probate administration, and the ability to handle estate tax returns. An existing book of business or established referral partners is a valuable asset.

Duties:

• Meet with and advise clients on estate planning matters
• Intake of client information for estate planning and administration
• Design and present estate plan proposals
• Review draft documents and ensure accuracy
• Oversee the signing and execution of estate planning documents with clients
• Administer probate estates, including preparing accountings and estate tax returns

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in estate planning and estate administration in Maryland
• Expertise in drafting both basic and intermediate estate planning documents
• Proven experience administering probate estates in Maryland
• Proficiency in preparing estate accountings and estate tax returns
• Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Maryland

Certifications:

• Maryland State Bar license
