A law firm seeks an Investment Funds Associate to join its team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background and experience advising on the formation and operation of domestic and international private equity, real estate, venture capital, and hedge funds.

Duties

• Advise on the formation and operation of various investment funds.
• Represent clients in secondary transactions on both sponsor and investor sides.
• Structure separately managed accounts and carry vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Produce high-quality work and manage competing priorities.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in an AmLaw 100 law firm preferred.
• Admitted to practice in the state of Texas.

Education

• JD degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in handling complex legal matters.
