A law firm seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Associate to join their team in Atlanta, GA. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a junior attorney with 1-3 years of experience to develop litigation skills in a collaborative environment, focusing on civil and commercial litigation matters.

Duties

• Assist in all aspects of civil and commercial litigation, including pleadings, discovery, and motion practice.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, and briefs.
• Manage and organize case files and discovery materials.
• Take and defend depositions as experience allows.
• Participate in hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Georgia Bar or ability to obtain promptly.
• 1-3 years of litigation experience, with civil and/or commercial litigation preferred.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Georgia Bar.
