A law firm seeks an experienced CMBS and Real Estate Capital Markets Associate in Miami, FL. The successful candidate will work on complex commercial real estate finance matters, focusing on drafting and negotiating transaction documents for performing and non-performing loans nationwide.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate finance agreements, modifications, consents, and workouts.
• Collaborate with experienced practitioners on complex real estate finance matters.
• Represent CMBS loan servicers, special servicers, and institutional lenders.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in relevant legal practice.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills.
• Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Florida Bar admission or eligibility.

Skills

• Experience in the CMBS industry preferred.
• Major law firm employment history preferred.
• Spanish language skills preferred.
