Senior Associate Attorney

A law firm in Dayton, OH, is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney with a focus on defending and litigating lawsuits involving employment-related claims. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of litigation experience, a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, and active admission to the Ohio Bar. This position requires representing employers in various forums, providing counsel on labor and employment laws, and demonstrating strong written and oral communication skills.

Duties:

• Defend and litigate lawsuits encompassing a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration in various employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases.
• Provide advice and counsel to employers on a wide range of labor and employment laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active admission to the Ohio Bar or the ability to obtain admission quickly.
• 6+ years of litigation experience, with a strong background in employment law.
