A law firm seeks an ambitious attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join its Insurance Recovery and Litigation team in Rochester, New York. The practice is nationwide, assisting policyholder clients in resolving complex insurance coverage disputes and maximizing recoveries.

Duties

• Resolve complex insurance coverage disputes.
• Secure carrier participation in defense and settlement of claims.
• Advise on a wide range of insurance coverage issues.
• Review insurance policies and handle claims.
• Litigate insurance coverage disputes.
• Draft contractual indemnity and insurance provisions.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience with insurance policies and coverage issues preferred.
• New York bar license required.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in New York.

Skills

• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Effective communication abilities.
• Experience in litigation and/or corporate transactional work is a plus.
