Duties:

• Draft and prepare legal documents for submission to courts and other relevant entities
• Develop pleadings, motions, judgments, and orders
• Communicate with court personnel, clients, and other attorneys
• Conduct witness interviews and prepare them for court testimony
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in the preparation of all legal documents
• Represent clients in court for all assigned cases
• Manage all aspects of case preparation and litigation
• Perform administrative tasks as needed, including organizing files, filing documents, and mailing correspondence
• Conduct legal research and analysis on specific family law issues

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
• Active Illinois law license
• Family law experience is highly preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Illinois

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing abilities
• Effective communication and client interaction skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
• Experience in litigation and trial preparation
• Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation
