Duties

• Handle a caseload in family law and/or civil litigation.
• Attend court in Peoria and surrounding counties approximately 2-3 times per week.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff in the office.
• Manage cases with administrative and legal support.
• Develop increased independence and responsibility.

Requirements

• Experienced Attorneys: 3+ years in family law and/or civil litigation.
• Junior Attorneys: 0-3 years, licensed or awaiting bar results.
• Interest in litigation and courtroom experience.
• Willingness to learn and grow with mentorship.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law or awaiting bar results.

Skills

• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
