Senior Manager | State & Local Tax | Sales & Use Tax
The candidate will be being well-versed in sales & use tax returns. Identifying optimal filing options. Analyzing and reviewing apportionment information. Consistently identifying engagement and operating opportunities for improvement and providing timely solutions and consultation. Understanding nexus and revenue sourcing issues. Managing multiple concurrent engagements without disruption or loss of control and within scheduled deadlines. Planning and researching tax issues. Managing multiple client relationships, billings, and resource needs. Preparing technical memorandums. Providing audit assistance. Assisting with state income tax & sales/use tax compliance. Assisting in managing, developing, and coaching professional staff. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field is required. CPA license or J.D. and/or LL.M designation is preferred. Should have 8-10 years or more of professional experience – public accounting experience is required, but the experience can include a combination of public accounting (tax) and/or industry .
