A law firm seeks a driven Associate Attorney to join its team in Melbourne, Florida. This position is an excellent opportunity for less experienced attorneys to gain exposure to various areas of transactional work while providing comprehensive legal counsel to small and growing businesses. Candidates with experience in intellectual property, tax, or employment law will be viewed favorably. Admission to practice law in Florida is required.

Duties:

• Provide legal support and counsel to small and emerging businesses on a range of transactional matters.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements.
• Conduct legal research to inform business decisions and strategies.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop comprehensive legal solutions tailored to clients' needs.
• Engage in various areas of law to broaden expertise and experience.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in Florida.
• Experience in intellectual property, tax, or employment law is a plus.
• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Education:

• JD from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Florida.

Skills:

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster relationships with clients and team members.
