Intellectual Property Litigation Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in Charlotte is seeking an Intellectual Property Litigation Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will assist with all aspects of IP litigation, including patent and trademark cases. Excellent academic credentials and strong interpersonal skills are required. Patent Bar admission is preferred.

Duties:

• Assist with all aspects of intellectual property (IP) litigation, including patent and trademark cases.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to IP matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Participate in case strategy development and client meetings.
• Assist with discovery, including document review and preparation of discovery requests and responses.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of experience in intellectual property litigation.
• Patent Bar admission preferred.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Patent Bar admission preferred.

Skills:
