A law firm seeks an Attorney for their Newark, NJ office. The Attorney will join a firm representing Employees and Unions. Candidates must have outstanding writing and verbal skills.

Duties:

• Represent employees and unions in legal matters
• Conduct legal research
• Draft legal documents, including complaints and briefs
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
• Negotiate settlements
• Represent clients in court proceedings
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• 1-3 years of legal experience
• Outstanding writing and verbal skills

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

Admission to the relevant State Bar

Skills:

• Strong legal research and writing skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail
