Research Analyst
The candidate will conduct company, financial, media, court, government source and commercial database research and analyze findings to assist in the consideration of legal claims made by the firm's attorneys. Compile and analyze data from a variety of databases, including Bloomberg, LexisNexis, and BamSEC. Analyze company financial statements and SEC filings. Present findings in memorandums, tables, charts, and graphs. Continually monitor news and SEC filings for assigned cases. Retrieve court filings using Bloomberg Law and PACER databases. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Bachelor's degree is required. Experience or interest in accounting, finance, and/or economics is preferred; all majors and backgrounds are considered. Previous experience in a legal and/or financial firm is strongly preferred.
