Senior Director, Mobile Strategy
The candidate will execute high profile, high intensity, short duration and long-range projects to evolve the business strategy to accelerate growth in mobile and wireless connectivity. Interface with internal organizations with a cooperative approach, gathers and synthesizes relevant data, driving analyses of ambiguous problems and supporting it with key insights developed through analysis and advanced financial modelling. Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Develop executive level deliverables for strategy projects through analytics, benchmarking, trends, regulatory, customer insights, competitive landscape and canvasing of related ecosystems. Develop an effective leadership team and assists them with developing their direct reports to drive a high performance culture. Build robust and easy-to-digest financial models with multiple scenarios used for evaluating targets and making other strategy decisions. Provide strategy support, including research activities and analysis focusing on mobile, wireless and connectivity. Research new technologies and industry trends to better understand key market participants, business models, and emerging connectivity businesses. Establish trusted relationships with internal cross-functional departments (e.g., Product, Wireless Technology, Marketing, Finance, Engineering) to collaborate on strategic projects. Perform other duties as required. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a Creative major is required. JD, MBA or Master’s Degree in Business or Technology is required. MBA or Master’s degree on Finance or related degree or equivalent professional experience is referred. Should have 10+ years of Banking, Consulting, or in-house Strategy/Development, 10+ years of Business Operations Analysis, 10+ years of Telecom experience (in-depth knowledge of Internet, Wireless, and Mobile) and 7+ years of Management experience. Should preferably have 10+ years of Experience in Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Corporate Strategy and/or Corporate Development in a technology/media company.
