Job Overview:
A prominent law firm based in Pittsburgh, PA, is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated mid-level litigation attorney. The position offers flexibility, including the possibility of remote work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of general liability matters, handling all stages of litigation, and providing comprehensive legal support to clients in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Duties:

• Handle a broad range of general liability cases, including managing cases independently from inception through resolution.
• Draft legal pleadings, motions, and other key legal documents.
• Take and defend depositions, as well as manage written discovery.
• Provide strategic legal analysis and develop case strategies.
• Represent clients in court and handle oral arguments as needed.
• Manage relationships with clients and ensure quality service throughout the litigation process.

Requirements:

• Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
• 3-5 years of litigation experience, ideally with a focus on defending liability claims.
• Strong background in drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, and discovery responses.
• Experience in handling depositions and providing oral arguments.
• Previous experience with premises liability, automobile, general liability, and insurance defense is preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey State Bars.

Skills:

• Strong analytical, organizational, and writing abilities.
• Excellent research skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Job Location:
