Experienced Attorney
The candidate will review claims and insurance policies to determine coverage, liability and damage issues. Review of assigned claim files to insure that the Company meets all obligations and responsibilities to insureds, third parties, regulatory authorities and the courts. Review of outside counsel activities to insure that the Company and its insureds receive competent representation, and services that are necessary and at a reasonable cost. Provide advice and counsel with regard to other general corporate matters. Should have a law degree and license to practice law. Previous legal experience preferred, especially in the area of tort or insurance law. Ability to exercise excellent legal, analytical and comprehension skills. An ability to use written and verbal communication skills in providing legal advice, counsel and services for the Company. The ability to work effectively with associates at all levels is essential.
