Duties

• Manage and assist with general civil cases from intake through resolution.

• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and court proceedings.
• Maintain accurate timekeeping and meet billing expectations.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Requirements

• Active license and in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan.
• Admission to practice before Michigan district and circuit courts required.
• Strong academic credentials.
• 3-5 years of civil litigation or general civil practice experience.
• Willingness to learn.
• Strong legal writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate, receive feedback, and contribute to team strategy.
• Professionalism, organization, and client-centered approach.

Education

• Doctorate (Required)

Certifications

• Admission to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern or Western Districts of Michigan preferred.

Skills

• Experience appearing in Michigan courts preferred.
• Familiarity with Michigan Court Rules and civil procedure preferred.
