Duties:

• Provide legal representation to juveniles in court-appointed cases.
• Offer legal counsel and representation to juvenile clients in privately retained cases.
• Handle cases in other criminal defense areas, such as adult misdemeanors, writs, appeals, and related matters.
• Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and participate in court proceedings.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar with a clear standing.
• Prior experience practicing criminal law, preferably with a focus on juvenile defense.
• Strong understanding of juvenile law, criminal procedure, and relevant statutes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar.
