Job Overview: A law firm in New York City is seeking a skilled Business Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience handling complex business disputes. Preference will be given to candidates with federal court clerkship experience and a strong background in deposition, court proceedings, and managing e-discovery.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents related to business litigation matters.
• Manage complex e-discovery processes efficiently and effectively.
• Prepare deposition outlines and exhibits for use in court proceedings.
• Investigate facts and develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings as required.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience handling complex business disputes.
• Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for immediate admission.
• Experience as a federal court clerk is highly valued.
• Strong academic credentials with a J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced litigation practice.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for immediate admission.
