Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Family Law Associate Attorney in Shelby, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will be passionate about representing clients during challenging times and will work within the Family Law Practice Area Group serving clients in Rutherford County and western North Carolina.

Duties

• Conduct new client consultations.
• Attend court, mediations, and depositions.
• Research and prepare cases for court.
• Participate in case reviews and team trainings.
• Communicate with clients in person, by phone, virtually, and in writing.
• Manage a high volume of cases from start to finish.

Requirements

• Licensed member of the North Carolina Bar, in good standing.
• Comfortable handling a high volume of cases.
• Previous law firm and litigation experience preferred, but all levels considered.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• North Carolina Bar membership.
