The candidate will be excited about helping the firm develop its probate, guardianship and trust administration practice and the supporting office procedures. Will assist with all aspects of probate, estate and trust administration from start to finish; effectively correspond with clients, financial institutions and beneficiaries to obtain needed information; obtain, track and completes all required forms to transfer securities; file claims for insurance proceeds and death benefits; and prepare accounts for estate administration or trust accounting. Able to correspond effectively with probate court as needed and promptly respond to clients on all questions. Help prepare attorney for guardianship proceedings. It's essential that are proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word with a strong aptitude towardmath and basic calculations. Should have 4+ years’ experience with Florida probate, guardianship, estate and trust administration. Notary public a plus. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel are required. Working knowledge of internet, legal research tools, court websites, and familiarity withpractice management software preferred. Should be comfortable in supporting more than one attorney and interacting with clients andother professionals.
