A law firm seeks a Senior Trust and Estate Litigation Attorney to join their team in Pleasanton, California. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in trust and estate litigation and a strong interest in advising clients on a wide range of related issues. A partial book of portable business is preferred.

Duties

• Represent senior citizens and their families in financial elder abuse litigation.
• Advise trustees, executors, administrators, and beneficiaries in trust and probate litigation.
• Handle contests based on lack of capacity, undue influence, or fraud.
• Address negligent management of assets and failure to account.
• Resolve co-trustee disputes and removal actions.
• Manage breach of fiduciary duty cases.
• Supervise and mentor associates.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the State Bar of California.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in trust and estate litigation.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, consulting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent reputation for integrity and collegiality among both bench and bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
