Duties

• Represent clients in consumer-focused litigation, including fraud, deceptive trade practices, breach of contract, and product liability.
• Handle all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Manage and oversee class action litigation and mass tort cases.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and motions.
• Advise clients on litigation risk and dispute resolution strategies.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution.
• Supervise junior attorneys, paralegals, and litigation support staff as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of consumer protection regulations and case law.

Requirements

• 15 years of experience in general or consumer litigation.
• Demonstrated success managing complex and high-stakes litigation independently.
• Extensive courtroom experience, including trials and motion practice.
• Familiarity with New York state and federal court procedures.
• Proven ability to handle both individual and class action matters.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar (in good standing).
• Admission to U.S. District Courts in New York preferred.
