Senior Web Developer
Duties: The candidate designs and develops Web applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout the development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests. Participates in developing application architectures including individual applications and component designs using the .NET framework. Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives. Supports users in all inquiries which may include developing documentation and assistance tools. Provide support and enhancements of existing in-house built applications. Perform installation, configuration, administration, and performance tuning of application. Collaborate with other departments to define requirements and system interfaces, assess available technologies, and develop and present solutions. Participate in the analysis, technical specifications, and testing (unit test, system test, and UAT) for product enhancements, bug fixes and software builds and promotions. Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of deployed applications. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance on software application-related issues. Monitor the health of applications, including error logs, server performance, and memory and processor usage. Enhances the organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Supports and develops web application developers by providing advice, coaching, and educational opportunities.
