Trademark Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm located in Las Vegas is seeking a Trademark Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate should have expertise in trademark searching, global trademark strategy development, and domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement. Experience with TTAB proceedings, online and social media enforcement, and UDRP proceedings is advantageous. Superior writing and communication skills are a must and fluency in foreign languages is highly valued.

Duties:

• Conduct trademark searches and analysis.
• Develop and implement global trademark strategies.
• Handle domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement matters.
• Assist with TTAB proceedings, online and social media enforcement, and UDRP proceedings.
• Draft legal documents, including trademark applications, oppositions, and cease and desist letters.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on trademark matters.
• Conduct legal research on trademark issues.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of trademark experience.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of Nevada or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
• Strong understanding of trademark law and procedures.
• Experience with trademark searching and prosecution.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
