Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Corporate/Transactional Attorney at the Counsel level in Timonium, MD. The ideal candidate will independently manage a variety of corporate matters, supporting and expanding the firm's corporate practice through outside general counsel work, M&A transactions, and general business matters.

Duties

• Handle outside general counsel work and advise clients on corporate needs.
• Manage M&A transactions and general business matters from consultation to closing.
• Draft and negotiate agreements and advise on governance issues.
• Coordinate with other practice groups as necessary.

Requirements

• 7-12+ years of corporate experience, including OGC-style advisory work and M&A.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and handle matters independently.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Maryland.

Skills

• Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
