A law firm located in Woburn, MA, is seeking an experienced Employment Law Attorney to join their team. The candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from leading employment law professionals in the region, work directly with clients, and receive support for professional development and career advancement.

Job Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients on a wide range of employment law matters.
• Draft, review, and revise employee handbooks, policies, and related documents.
• Ensure client compliance with wage and hours regulations and advise on related issues.
• Offer guidance to employers regarding hiring practices and procedures.
• Conduct on-site training sessions for clients on harassment prevention and related topics.
• Handle crisis response situations and assist with risk management strategies.
• Manage a caseload in a fast-paced practice environment with multiple clients.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar in Massachusetts.
• Minimum of 4+ years of experience practicing employment law.
• Some background in general litigation preferred.
• Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a dynamic, client-focused practice.
• Excellent academic and professional credentials.
• Outstanding communication and writing skills.

Certifications:

Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar.

• Thorough understanding of employment law regulations and best practices.
• Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic guidance.
• Proficiency in research and legal writing.
