The candidate will support the transactional and other legal needs of the Alpha businesses. Assist the Alpha businesses with the launch of new products and services. Be part of a team that negotiates and documents transactions that cross service lines and/or jurisdictions. Draft and negotiate other agreements and schedules. A JD from an ABA-accredited law school and active State Bar membership. Should have 3-5 years of in-house counsel experience, preferably at a financial services technology or software firm. Agreement drafting and negotiation experience – financial services or licensing experience preferred. Should have solid, practical knowledge regarding general corporate legal matters. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proven attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and produce quality work products in a fast-paced environment. Excellent business judgment and the ability to form strong working relationships with demanding internal clients while maintaining firm adherence to proper corporate and legal standards. Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently. Proven ability to work with diverse, cross-functional teams including global interactions. Flexibility with schedule and ability to work beyond regular business hours as required to support international business units and customers.
