Position Summary
The Director of Product, Global Ecommerce is responsible for building the strategy and roadmap to deliver exceptional experiences on UA.com to our global athletes. In this role, you will put the consumer at the center of your decision making, using insights and a focus on end-to-end journeys that will lead to omni consumer experiences that drive brand love. The Product Director will collaborate with leaders to share consumer insights and understand opportunities that will inform the roadmap that unlocks business value and achieves company goals. The successful executions and delivery of the roadmap will be the result of partnerships built between engineering, design, and project management in addition to strong team leadership as you motivate and lead the storefront product team to achieve the product vision.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The Product Director owns the strategic direction of a portfolio of products and is responsible for setting the near-term goals and long-term strategy for those products. You are fully accountable for all aspects of the product’s success. Product decisions are highly complex and affect the broader strategic plan within the digital organization. As the product leader, you will set standards and high expectations for portfolio growth, build, and develop high performing teams and individual team members.
You should understand the competitive space better than anyone else. Be an expert on your portfolio with a point of view on how we differentiate our experience.
In this role, you will lead multidisciplinary teams (engineering, design, project management, etc.) to deliver complex features and strategic capabilities.
Starting with the consumer, you will identify their needs and spot opportunities to build features that increase engagement and delight to drive future loyalty with the Brand.
A Product Director know when to communicate what to whom, bringing teammates to the table at the right time and ensure effective flow of information.
Also note that the specific responsibilities of the role could change as our strategy evolves over time. At the core, this role is about product leadership.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
The Product Director is an organizational leader. They are a key participant in the organizational structures needed to enable the larger team to both stay focused and execute with autonomy (e.g., UI review, launch process, exec reviews). They identify possible collisions and proactively fix them by mediating between teams and finding mutual solutions. They drive the broader roadmap with a view beyond the next 12 months.
A successful Director of Product Management is passionate about great products and the consumer experience.
Plan and effectively communicate product vision to the cross-functional team, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.
The ability to break down complex problems and present to executive leadership concisely is paramount.
Able to drive strategic discussions across cross-functional teams to achieve goals. Ability to motivate your team around a product vision to achieve consumer outcomes.

Education And / Or Experience
Minimum 7-10 years in digital product management role (E-Commerce experience preferred)​
Passionate about making all athletes better around the world
Bachelor's degree in technology, marketing, math, or related discipline. (MBA Preferred)
You should have demonstrated success as a product leader in consumer facing products working at global scale
You have experience working with remote vendors, teammates, and customers in other countries.​
You are skilled at multi-tasking, prioritizing your work and problem solving.​
You have demonstrated experience leading successful teams.
