Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis related to transactional tax matters, focusing on partnerships and energy tax.
• Draft and review legal documents, including agreements and contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on the tax implications of various business transactions.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm to address multifaceted legal issues.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide informed and accurate advice to clients.

Requirements:

• 1-4 years of experience in a transactional tax practice.
• Experience in partnership matters, including drafting, is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge or experience in energy tax is beneficial.
• Strong academic credentials, including a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
• Ideal candidates will have, or currently be in the process of earning, an LL.M. in taxation.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
• LL.M. in taxation (preferred).

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
