Duties

• Maintain organized and up-to-date case files and client records
• Oversee and mentor paralegals and administrative staff
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective defense strategies

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in litigation, preferably in public entity defense or civil litigation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal research tools

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active membership in the State Bar of California
• American Bar Association (ABA) membership preferred
