Job Overview

A law firm seeks a motivated Associate Attorney with at least 3 years of litigation experience to join their remote team in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate will manage a caseload independently and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Duties

• Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence.
• Conduct legal research and case analysis.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials as needed (virtual and occasional in-person).
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
• Meet billing and case management expectations.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in applicable state(s).
• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience (defense experience preferred).
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote setting.
• Experience in one or more of the firm's practice areas is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in applicable state(s).
