Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Intellectual Property Associate to join its team in Menlo Park, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intellectual property litigation, with a focus on patent litigation, and will be joining a dynamic practice upon completion of a judicial clerkship.

Duties

• Engage in complex intellectual property litigation matters.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft persuasive legal documents.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys to develop case strategies.
• Participate in client meetings and provide legal advice.

Requirements

• Current experience as a judicial clerk for a minimum of one year, preferably for a federal court.
• Two to six years of prior law firm experience in intellectual property and/or patent litigation.
• Membership to the State Bar of the office of the state in which the candidate expects to be located is required.

Education

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent is preferred.

Certifications

• Admission to the State Bar of your office location is required.
