A law firm seeks an Employment Litigation Associate in Albany, NY. The successful candidate will join a team dedicated to providing strategic legal solutions in employment and labor law. This role involves defending and litigating a variety of employment-related claims and advising employers on legal matters.

Duties

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
• Advise, counsel, and train employers on employment and labor law issues.
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• 2+ years of experience, with a strong preference for an employment law background.
• Current NY bar admission or ability to obtain admission.
• Understanding of current state and federal agency procedures.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
