A respected law firm based in Lancaster, CA, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join a dedicated team focused on handling complex and high-stakes class action cases. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented attorney to contribute to impactful litigation involving consumer fraud, wage theft, constitutional violations, and more. Duties:

• Conduct in-depth legal research to inform case strategy and preparation
• Draft legal documents including motions, discovery requests, and correspondence
• Take and defend depositions in complex litigation matters
• Support mediations, settlement negotiations, and overall case management
• Assist in overseeing and advancing the litigation of large-scale class actions
• Represent clients in court, including arguing motions, attending hearings, and participating in trials

Requirements:

• 0-3 years of experience in civil litigation or class action law
• Must be licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
• Preferred experience in law school journals or similar academic recognition
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on clarity and persuasion
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar

Skills:

• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Experience with legal drafting and litigation strategy
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle complex legal matters
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
