A law firm seeks a Construction Litigation Associate Attorney in New York, NY. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team handling complex construction disputes, NYS Labor Law defense, and construction defect/property damage claims.

Duties

• Handle depositions, court appearances, and motion practice in state and federal courts.
• Advise clients on litigation strategy, risk management, and insurance coverage issues.
• Draft pleadings, discovery requests, and other litigation documents with precision.
• Collaborate with partners and colleagues to develop case strategies.
• Respond to catastrophic events and develop litigation defenses.

Requirements

• Admission to the New York Bar required; New Jersey Bar admission is a plus.
• 2+ years of litigation experience, with emphasis on construction/NYS Labor Law defense.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated professional judgment and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications
