Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate for its General Liability team in Iselin, NJ. The successful candidate will join a dynamic environment, contributing to a range of legal matters and supporting the firm's commitment to client service excellence.

Duties

• Evaluate new case files and manage client communications.
• Produce discovery and conduct legal research.
• Prepare legal memoranda on various legal topics.
• Prepare and argue discovery and substantive motions.
• Attend pretrial listings and manage trial proceedings.

Requirements

• JD degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Active license in good standing in New Jersey; New York Bar admission preferred.
• 2-5 years of General Liability litigation experience required.
• Experience in commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident, and product liability preferred.
• Trial experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• JD degree from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications

• Active license in good standing in New Jersey.
