Duties

• Manage a personal injury caseload from filing through trial preparation and resolution.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and oppositions.
• Take and defend depositions, including plaintiffs, defendants, and experts.
• Appear at law and motion hearings.
• Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and defense counsel.
• Work closely with paralegals, case managers, and support staff.
• Conduct case evaluations and damages analysis.
• Maintain compliance with California litigation deadlines.
• Communicate with clients and provide clear case strategy updates.

Requirements

• Active California State Bar license (required).
• 3+ years of personal injury litigation experience (plaintiff side preferred).
• Experience managing cases independently.
• Strong deposition, discovery, and motion practice experience.
• Trial experience preferred.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• California State Bar license.
