A law firm located in Quincy, MA, is actively seeking motivated and self-starting Residential and Commercial Conveyancers. The firm is open to individuals operating as solo practitioners or those from small firms who specialize in residential and/or commercial conveyancing. The ideal candidates should bring an existing book of business to the role, demonstrating their ability to handle a caseload independently.

Duties:

• Conduct residential and/or commercial real estate transactions, including title searches, document preparation, and closings.
• Provide legal advice to clients regarding property purchases, sales, and refinances.
• Collaborate with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved in transactions to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
• Review and analyze property documents, contracts, and agreements.
• Address any legal issues or challenges that may arise during the conveyancing process.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in real estate laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 1-6 years of experience in residential and/or commercial conveyancing.
• Active license to practice law in Massachusetts.
• An existing book of business is required, demonstrating a track record of successful transactions.
• Strong understanding of Massachusetts real estate laws and regulations.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for document preparation and research.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Massachusetts State Bar Association or equivalent bar association.
