Duties

• Prepare and attend court appearances within travel distance, ensuring timely and reliable attendance.
• Request and manage court coverage placements, including necessary documentation and orders.
• Draft, review, and file motions during litigation.
• Prepare for trials and arbitrations, which may require overnight travel.
• Communicate with consumers, their employers, and attorneys to resolve accounts and suits.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Hawaii.
• Additional licensing in other states is welcomed.
• Comfortable with court appearances and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel, with reimbursement for approved expenses.
• Strong multi-tasking, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Hawaii.
